59. Go whale watching (even if I don't see a whale)

I went whale watching!!! I didn't see any whales... :(
When I went to visit my father in Maine, we went whale watching. Unfortunately, the tail end of Hurricane Earl was sticking around and made the water too rough to make it out to the whale feeding area. I didn't get to see any whales but I did see seals!! I also saw a lot of lighthouses and got sea sick! I knew I was going to get sick... I get sick on lake Erie! It was so rough out, we had to turn around and go up the river!

7. Visit my father in Maine 9/4/2010

Labor Day weekend, I went to visit Terry and my father. It was a good trip! We went to a lighthouse and whale watching. Unfortunately, no whales were spotted. Hurricane Earl wanted to stick around... we had to head back towards shore because it was too rough out. I did get to see seals!! We also went looking for caterpillars. The children's center, at the library, was doing an exhibit on caterpillars and we had to find some! I found 3!
