59. Go whale watching (even if I don't see a whale)

I went whale watching!!! I didn't see any whales... :(
When I went to visit my father in Maine, we went whale watching. Unfortunately, the tail end of Hurricane Earl was sticking around and made the water too rough to make it out to the whale feeding area. I didn't get to see any whales but I did see seals!! I also saw a lot of lighthouses and got sea sick! I knew I was going to get sick... I get sick on lake Erie! It was so rough out, we had to turn around and go up the river!

7. Visit my father in Maine 9/4/2010

Labor Day weekend, I went to visit Terry and my father. It was a good trip! We went to a lighthouse and whale watching. Unfortunately, no whales were spotted. Hurricane Earl wanted to stick around... we had to head back towards shore because it was too rough out. I did get to see seals!! We also went looking for caterpillars. The children's center, at the library, was doing an exhibit on caterpillars and we had to find some! I found 3!

40. Go camping 6/18/10

My FIRST camping trip! Yup, that's right! I finally went camping. My ward had a camping trip to French Creek State Park in Pennsylvania.We had a good number of YSA make the trip. I enjoyed the experience and one night is the perfect amount of time!

Thanks to Danelle, I was able to use the outhouse with a handsfree flashlight! The only think I would change about my next camping trip is a real restroom close by!

I slept under the stars! My spot was the outer side of the mattress. It was Me, Meagan, Danelle, Bobby, Eric, Mateja and Bishop Lowe.

Ben, with the help of various others, made Dutch Oven Mountain Man Omelets. They had bacon, onions, potatoes, eggs and cheese. 

Carrie, with the help of others, made banana pancakes and plain pancakes! 

I think they enjoyed their breakfast and I enjoyed my time! 

30. Play softball 6/4/10

Friday, I was able to play softball with Jayme's Princeton intramural team. I played 2nd base and was 11th at bat. I was not happy with my hitting, at all! However, I did have fun and hope to be able to play again!

57. Skip rocks 5/30/10

While in Breckenridge, Freddy and I went on a walk to look around. We each skipped a rock at the pond. His skipped twice and mine just sank... does that mean it doesn't count?

77. Play tennis 5/11/10

I hit a tennis ball against the tennis wall... that was NOT fun! I will have to wait until I actually play tennis to mark this off my list! :) 4/2/2010

I wrote a kid on craigslist who was looking for a tennis partner. We went to Princeton High School to hit around. I wasn't TERRIBLE!
When I was walking through the parking lot to the courts, a guy said, "Is that an Ohio University sweatshirt?" Why yes it is. I asked if he was from Ohio and he said he use to live in Mentor. I was in shock. I said, "I'm from Ashtabula." He said, "You went to Ashtabula? When did you graduate?" I said, "I'm a Harbor girl, I graduated in 2002." It was Mr. Haywood! He was the computer teacher at Harbor until 2000! I didn't recognize him but could not get over seeing him in Princeton! Such a small, small world!!
Back to tennis, we hit around. I talked a lot. He seemed to talk a good amount. I asked, assuming it was a yes, if he liked to talk. You know how guys can be... he said no. What?! Well, you played tennis with the wrong girl!
We're going again Tuesday! I hope I get better and it works out my arm! :)

I went to a 1920s Murder Mystery Party! It was a lot of fun! My character was a flirty, talkative waitress.

I went to Hershey Park with a lady from church. It was a ton of fun!!

The lights are Hershey Kisses! You can't tell but they go silver then chocolate and some have a "paper" coming out of them that says 'HERSHEY'.

73. Randomly bake cookies for a friend 3/2010

Virginia has been wanting to make the Snowball Cookies (Mexican Wedding Cookies) I made at Christmas. She has the recipe but still hasn't made them... I decided to bake some for her! The Hartmans were out of town so I took the time to bake with nuts! I didn't try and because I know how good they are! :)

The Hartmans went to FL so I thought it would be a good time to make a pizza for dinner! I made a white whole wheat pizza. It was good... but not excellent.

I made 3 mini white pizzas for the kids. Gab wanted no sauce, Ethan wanted all sauce and Josh wanted half and half. They loved them! 4/7/10

47. Go ice skating 2/12/2010

The kids were off from school for Lincoln's Birthday... yeah I don't know why. Anyways, the kids had never been ice skating so I decided to take them. Ethan made it half way around, Josh went around twice and Gabrielle went around 5 times. It took longer to lace up 4 pairs of skates then it did for them to actually skate!

I paid off my car loan last week!! I should've made this pay off all my loans! Hopefully they'll be paid off within 3 years... fingers crossed!!

On Christmas Eve of '09, I was visiting my family in Ohio, I was actually at the mall in Erie, PA, and I stopped by Macy's to send my letter to Santa! For every letter, Macy's donated $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1,000,000.

79. Sign up to donate bone marrow

New Years Eve '09, around 2 am so more like New years day 2010, I signed up to donate bone marrow at http://www.marrow.org/index.html. This is something I've planning on doing for a while but now hope to be a match for my cousin who was diagnosed with Leukemia.

45. Make a t-shirt quilt

Over Christmas break '09, Aunt Sue, Aunt Beth and I cut and organize the t-shirt quilt. Aunt Beth is going to sew it together. I'm excited about it! :)
